Friday Housekeeping: Email Marketing 360, Facebook, Subscriptions and Feedback
A few housekeeping topics on this glorious Friday morning:
Email Marketing 360 Webinar on Higher Ed Experts
Karine Joly has been kind enough to postpone the registration deadline for the Email Marketing 360 webinars for one week. I will be doing the first session in the two-part series, titled “Marketing to Inboxes”. If you missed my email marketing presentation at the American Marketing Association Symposium, I will be covering a lot of the same material. It’s all practical, applicable advise to help you improve your current email marketing program or start one from scratch.
Now a very fair question that people have been asking me is if they read my blog, will there be any new material and the answer is yes. Though I will be covering topics that I have written about before, I would also be expounding on them and covering some areas that I haven’t written about before. Where I think this webinar would be most helpful to regular readers, however, is in convincing their colleagues of material they already know. When you register for this webinar, you have the ability to get a big group of you in a room and watch around the same computer screen. I’m an outside voice and sometimes having that outside voice can be a great way to convince people of what you’ve been preaching for months.

Facebook Blog Network
Yesterday I received an email from Travis over at Indiana University asking why my blog wasn’t included in the Facebook Blog Network. The truth is I had never heard of it! So I got on there last night to check it out and add both this blog and .eduGuru. If you read either or both of these blogs, hop on and join our networks:

How am I doing?
I’ve created a really short (only 5 questions!) survey to assess how I’m doing on here and would love feedback from everyone. Are there topics you want to hear about that I’m not covering? Do you even get anything out of those damn live-blogged conference notes? My hope is to make this blog as helpful to my readers as possible and to do that, I need to hear your opinions on it!
Subscriptions
A lot of you know that a while ago, I moved this blog from Blogger to Wordpress. In doing so, I know a lot of people who were previously subscribed to the old RSS feed got left behind. Just a reminder that if you’re interested in receiving RSS or emails about this blog to check and make sure you are subscribed!

trying to round up a group for the webinar but have you ever heard the expression “pushing rope”? It is a challenge to get these folks off center sometimes.
