I’m really looking forward to the CASE: Communications, Marketing and Technology conference next month.  This is my first CASE event as a faculty member and the conference program stacks up against many conferences out there in terms of subject matter and expertise.

Unfortunately, not everyone is going to be able to make the trip to Boston.  That’s why I decided to bring my presentations from the conference to you for a one time only encore event.

What: I will be doing webinar versions of both of my presentations from CASE: Communications, Marketing and Technology.  These presentations have not been done at any conference before CASE, and I am not planning on doing them again this calendar year!

When:

May 13 at 1pm: 10 Commandments of E-Marketing

With the current economic downturn, wise colleges are shifting their focus from pricey print initiatives to the web as a way to cut costs and enhance ROI.  This session will show you how to take traditional marketing principles and apply them to your technology-driven marketing efforts to achieve maximum results.  We’ll discuss the nuances of e-marketing you should be aware of before undertaking these initiatives.

May 14 at 1pm: Ignite the Conversation: Using Blogs as a Marketing Tool

Blogs are more than a nice frill to have on your institutional website. They have the power to engage your audience in ways that will build brand awareness and loyalty in a cost-effective way.  This presentation will discuss what blogs are (yes, they’re more than journals), the characteristics of a successful blog, and share tips for how you can integrate this medium into your school’s marketing program.

Where: From your desk! Or conference room. Or anywhere with an internet connection!

How Much: My goal is to keep this as flexible and affordable as possible - if you want to just attend one of the webinars, it’s your choice for $100.  You can get a ticket to both webinars for the discounted price of $150. Each ticket includes one site connection - so feel free to gather your team in a conference room for the event!

As an extra bonus to registrants, I will make myself available to them for one week following the presentations to answer any questions you have about implementing e-marketing and blogging strategies at your institution.

Questions? Shoot me an email at karlyn@karlynmorissette.com.
