This year, I was honored (and frankly, a bit surprised!) to be asked to guest author a track for eduWeb 2009.  I quickly decided that I wanted someone to bounce ideas off of, and brought Matt Herzberger on board to work with me on it, since I think he’s brilliant and not afraid to call me on my bull.  We came up with a track called “Getting It Done” and really wanted to focus in on presentations that provided practical, applicable advice for our audience.

Yesterday, after months of work, the conference schedule was announced.  I’m so proud of the lineup we put together - Matt and I will both be presenting, along with Stewart Foss (eduStyle.net), Aaron Rester (U of Chicago Law), Tom Williams (Innogage), Kyle James (Hubspot), Paul Gilzow (U of Missouri), Brad Ward (BlueFuego), Christopher Schmitt (Heat Vision), Nikki Chun (U of Miami) and Adrienne Bartlett (TargetX).  View the full lineup on the conference website.  There’s a lot of diversity in this group - from design to development to marketing, it has something for anyone.  A big thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal - I wish Matt and I could have picked all of you!

eduWeb is shaping up to be one of the best values of the higher ed web conferences, offering over 30 presentations at just $550 for early bird registration.  This is one you want to spend the professional development dollars on. Visit the website to register today!
